About Me

Hi, I'm Miranda. Sagitarrius. Music junkie. I like chips and salsa, iced coffee and long walks on the beach.

I fell in love with journalism as a teenager in a tiny newsroom at Sulphur Springs High School, where I was the editor-in-chief of The Cat's Tale, the school's monthly newspaper. I competed in State UIL in Headline Writing, and, well, that lit a fire in me.

I later joined the Mount Pleasant Tribune as a reporter and page designer and was promoted to managing editor a year later. I also served as managing editor of the Sulphur Springs News-Telegram and The Paris news, and have bylines in publications throughout the state. I'm currently the general manager of Mount Pleasant Tribune, The Pittsburg Gazette and The Steel-Country Bee.
